How to Order a DVD

To order a video:

1. Decide on the number of photos you would like to use. Please call for assistance if you are having trouble determining how many photos to include. The following is my "rule of thumb" for various events. You do not have to follow this. It is only to provide guidance:
   • High School or College graduation: 250 - 300 photos, which will result in a 1/2 hour video
   • Birthday for someone 60 or older: 500 - 800 photos, which will result in a 1 1/2 hour video. This is the maximum a DVD can handle
   • Birthday for someone 40 - 60 years old: 400 - 600 photos, which will result in a 1 hour video
   • 8th grade yearbook: 800 photos
   • Wedding: 100 - 150 photos, which will result in a 15 - 20 minute video
   • Arrival of a new baby: 25 - 50 photos, which will result in a 5 minute video
   • Vacation: 25 - 150 photos
   • Memorial: 500 - 800 photos
   Please call for guidance regarding the number of photos required.
   
   
2. Choose the photos you would like to use. I usually come up with a way to organize the photos. If you have a particular way you would like to see the photos sequenced in the video, please number the back of each photo. DO NOT WRITE DIRECTLY ON THE PHOTO - place a sticky note on the photo with the number.
   
   
3. You can choose the music or leave it to us. We would be happy to consult with you about the music.
   
   
4. Print/fill out the order form and mail with pictures and any song selections. Actual photos (hard copy) may be sent, or digital photos (on a CD) can be submitted. The use of hard copy photos will result in a higher cost.
   
   
5. Specify the number of DVD copies you would like; two (2) are included in every order. For additional copies, up to 15 additional DVDs will cost $10 per DVD. For more than 15, the cost is reduced to $5 for each additional DVD.
   
   
6. Choose the method of shipment you prefer.
   
   
7. Please allow 2 - 3 weeks for turnaround. Please allow an additional week at Christmas and during graduation weeks.
